If anyone can defy gravity, it’s Ariana – a goddess in human form
I’ve been hard at work examining stools this week. This is not because of some tricky digestive complaint, but the result of a terribly serious investigation into pop star Ariana Grande’s posing skills.
Jesse Mclaren, a Buzzfeed journalist, tried to recreate an album cover in which Grande is neatly balanced atop a stool in a way that defies the rules of basic aerodynamic science. “I’ve done the research, and there’s no way her a-- is sitting on that stool,” Mclaren tweeted, accompanied by a photo of himself inelegantly falling off a similar stool.
Other online attempts followed, with varying degrees of success. Was the image photoshopped? Ariana herself piled in, neither confirming nor denying the rumours.
As for me? Well, I haven’t tried it out myself, because I have better things to do.
But I think Ariana could do anything she set her mind to. After watching her organise and perform at a concert to help the victims of the Manchester Arena terror attack, I think she’s a goddess in human form.
If anyone can defy gravity, Ariana can.
