Bet­ter pay-outs for poor broad­band promised

Cus­tomers of ma­jor broad­band and land­line providers are set to re­ceive pay­outs as part of a new com­pen­sa­tion scheme for poor ser­vice. From 2019, users will see their ac­counts au­to­mat­i­cally cred­ited if they ex­pe­ri­ence slow re­pairs, missed ap­point­ments or de­layed in­stal­la­tions.
