Carl Sargeant death First Min­is­ter to launch in­quiry

An in­de­pen­dent in­quiry is to be held into the death of Carl Sargeant fol­low­ing crit­i­cism from his fam­ily.

The Welsh Assem­bly cab­i­net mem­ber, who took his own life af­ter be­ing sacked over claims of sex­ual ha­rass­ment, had been sub­jected to a cam­paign of bul­ly­ing, it has been claimed.

Car­wyn Jones, the Welsh First Min­is­ter, has asked for an in­de­pen­dent in­quiry to ex­am­ine his han­dling of the case.
