Senate candidate ‘banned from mall for badgering teenage girls’
ROY MOORE, the Republican Senate candidate, was banned from an Alabama shopping centre for repeatedly badgering teenage girls, it has been claimed.
Mr Moore, 70, is under mounting pressure to quit the election race after a series of historic allegations by five women who said Mr Moore inappropriately touched them while they were teenagers in the Eighties. In the latest reports, political figures and police officers claimed Mr Moore was banned from Gadsden mall because he pestered teenage girls. Police officers told the New Yorker “Moore’s presence at the mall was regarded as a problem”.
Judge Moore, the former chief justice of Alabama Supreme Court, has come under pressure to quit. He has rejected the allegations made against him but admitted dating teenage girls, adding he never did so without the permission of the girls’ mothers.
