Beer v rugby

SIR – Watching a rugby match at Twickenham was again ruined last Saturday by men going to buy beer, or else going to get rid of it.

I had to stand up at least 10 times in each half. Beer seems more important than watching an international.

Closing the bars during the match would reduce these trips. Susie Pelly
