Boys being girls

SIR – For the Girl Guides (report, November 27) to allow boys who “self identify” as girls to share showers and sleeping quarters with girls – but not inform parents of girls that it is happening – is madness.

The Equalities Act is surely being used to justify actions our legislators did not intend it to cover. It needs rewriting, or maybe just tearing up.

This policy is a tragedy and a court case waiting to happen. George E Fitzgerald
