Boy found dead outside home ‘had hypothermia’
Two people have been arrested after a boy died outside his home suffering from suspected hypothermia.
The boy, named locally as Hakeem Hussain, was found in Nechells, Birmingham, at 7.30am on Sunday and is believed to have suffered a cardiac arrest. A man, 56, was arrested on suspicion of wilfully ill-treating a child, and a woman, 35, was arrested on suspicion of wilfully neglecting a child. Both have been bailed while police investigate.
