Doctor ‘sent colleague 900 sex texts, videos and pictures’

-

A DOCTOR pestered a junior colleague with 900 online messages and explicit images of himself from the day she began her job, a medical tribunal heard.

Dr Julian Proctor, 36, sent more than 100 explicit posts a day to the young woman in a “relentless pursuit”, saying they should have a “secret love affair”, it was alleged.

The woman in her 20s – Dr B – told Proctor she had a boyfriend, but he continued to make sexual advances, sending her explicit images and videos. He even sent her images while both were in a staff meeting at the Pilgrim Hospital in Boston, Lincs, where he was a senior registrar, the hearing was told.

One message read: “Hey sexy ... have you looked at my video yet?” Another said: “I love squeezing your bum, it’s a nice shape ... I still want to get you naked.” He once tried to embrace her in a lift before slapping her bottom, saying: “How much do you fancy me?” When she asked him to stop, he is alleged to have said: “But I can’t help it.”

At the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service, Proctor, of Henley-uponthames, admitted sending sexually explicit messages but denied asking Dr B for sex. It was “a consensual flirtatious relationship”, he claimed.

The hearing continues.
