The Scottish Bridge Union Winter Congress has been taking place at the Peebles Hydro hotel. Winners of the eight match Swiss Pairs are as follows writes Julian Pottage, Bridge Correspondent:

1st Malcolm Copley and Derek Peden, 120 VPS; 2nd= John Matheson and Iain Sime, 115 VPS, and Brian Short and Sandy Duncan, 115 VPS; 4th Liz Mcgowan and David Liggat, 108 VPS; and 5th= Emily Middleton and Chris Cooper, 107 VPS, and Tracy Capal and Warner Solomon, 107 VPS.

Winners of the Friday afternoon open teams were John Matheson, Iain Sime, Mike Ash and Chris Chambers.
