Firms seek to offer bitcoin ETFS

Two firms, Vaneck and Rex, have filed paperwork with US regulators in the past week in an attempt to launch bitcoin-based exchange traded funds, which would offer another way for investors to track the so-called cryptocurrency. The filings came ahead of the Chicago-based exchange CME introducing bitcoin futures last night.
