A cut above How to get the most from your cheese
CUTTING the Camembert and slicing the stilton may not be as easy as was once assumed.
According to the Good Housekeeping Institute: “There’s a trick to getting the best from your cheese ... this includes where to plunge the knife and the shape of the chunk itself.”
Hard cheese should be cut into cubes, waxed truckles into wedges and those with a gooey centre into diagonal strips, it says.
