IAG last bidder for Niki airline

British Airways owner IAG is said to be the only bidder left for Niki, collapsed Air Berlin’s Austrian airline, amid talk it had offered the highest amount, of around €40m (£36m). Tour operators Thomas Cook and TUI, as well as Niki founder Niki Lauda, have dropped out the running, according to German newspaper Die Presse.
