US lottery winner scoops $570m

One Powerball ticket sold in New Hampshire in the US will claim a prize of almost half a billion dollars.

The nation’s seventh largest jackpot sees the winner take $570million (£420 million).

The winning ticket was drawn one day after a single Mega Millions ticket purchased in Florida won $450 million (£332 million).
