Graduate’s £1m ticket to ride with rock bands

A music lover who graduated four months ago has paid off his student debts and can pursue his dream of working with touring rock bands after winning £1 million on Euromillions.

Alex Best, from Shildon, County Durham, said he was considering buying an Aston Martin despite not having passed his driving test.

Mr Best graduated with a degree in live event production from Bolton University and said his ambition was to work for big tours and festivals such as Glastonbury.

The 21-year-old said: “It’s an unbelievable feeling knowing that I’m now debt-free.”
