In times of gloom, colour is essential, and London’s fashion houses rallied with a veritable rainbow of the stuff. Roksanda Ilincic paired sulphur yellow with watermelon pink and azure blue, with even classic oxblood and tan shades taking on a painterly lent in the context of artist Caroline Denervaud’s hangings, which trailed from glass ceiling to floor. Art class continued with an Ellsworth Kellyesque colour palette of brights at Preen by Thornton Bregazzi and Jigsaw. Some of the punchiest combinations came of new-to-london Spanish label Delpozo.
