Vaping drivers could see licence go up in smoke
Senior police officers have warned drivers using e-cigarettes who obscure their vision with clouds of vapour that they face prosecution and risk losing their licence.
Although vaping while driving is not itself an illegal act, it was up to the discretion of officers to determine what was dangerous and distracting, said Sussex Road Policing Unit.
Those found to be distracted could be prosecuted for driving without due care and attention.
