D-icing with death

Swiss extreme climber Dani Arnold opens a new route on the worldfamous Helmcken Falls in British Columbia, Canada. He named the route “Power Shrimps” because its icicles were distorted and twisted like shrimps. At 460ft (141m) tall, the falls are the fourth highest in Canada. In winter it is a paradise for ice climbers as the spray freezes, forming huge walls and caves of ice.
