If you’re not watching this comedy about a hapless group of New York police officers, then you really should start. That said, the first part of this two-part season opener is darker than usual as it turns out that detectives Jake (Andy Samberg) and Rosa (Stephanie Beatriz) really are in jail for crimes they didn’t commit. There are still some good jokes amid the heavy lifting, however, and the deadpan Andre Braugher continues to steal the show as Captain Raymond Holt.
