‘Joke’ email ranking office females backfires

-

An advertising executive sent colleagues an all-round email ranking female co-workers on their attractiveness on International Women’s Day.

Paul Martin sent the email as he departed The&partnership in London, which included lists entitled “Top Five”, “Bottom Five” and “If I’d Had A Few Too Many”. His email, sent on Mar 8, included crude reviews of his female co-workers, including “After seven pints and a bag of pork scratchings” and “After watching this video, I am forever flaccid.”

After the email was leaked on Twitter, Mr Martin said it had been intended as a joke. A spokesman for The&partnership said it “did not allow sexism of any kind”.
