‘Drunk’ co-pilot held at airport

An airline pilot, due to fly from Germany to Lisbon on Friday, was detained before take off from Stuttgart after he was found to be under the influence of alcohol.

Prosecutors immediately suspended the co-pilot’s flying licence. TAP Air Portugal apologised and said the passengers would not be able to fly until today.
