Drink driver jailed for 13 years for boys’ deaths

The families of three teenagers killed by a drink driver have called for tougher sentences, as he was jailed for 13 years yesterday at the Old Bailey.

Jaynesh Chudasama, 28, was more than two-and-a-half times over the limit and driving at 71mph on a 60mph road in Hayes, west London, when he hit the teenagers in January.

The car hire worker, who also had traces of cannabis in his system, pleaded guilty to causing the boys’ deaths by dangerous driving.
