Synchronised swimmers

A herd of deer keep to an orderly line as they swim the Derwent river at Chatsworth, Derbyshire. Jim Bell, 73, captured the image as the 100-strong group ran through fields and straight into the water. The estate, home to the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire, has a 1,000-acre park inhabited by red and fallow deer.
