Lion pride in Uganda park killed by poisoner
A pride of lions thought to have attacked livestock has been killed by suspected poisoning in a major protected area in Uganda.
The Uganda Wildlife Authority said 11 lions had been found dead in Queen Elizabeth National Park and called it a “big blow” to the park, which has more than 200 lions and depends heavily on tourist income.
