Corbyn pledges to end right-to-buy

Jeremy Corbyn will suspend tenants’ right to buy their council houses after condemning the Conservative policy as a “threat”.

Launching a consultation in London, the Labour leader said the party would end Margaret Thatcher’s policy as part of an attempt to build a million “genuinely affordable homes”.
