Defence and Security Forum

Prof Gulnur Aybet was the guest speaker at a dinner of the Defence and Security Forum held last night at the Naval and Military Club. The theme was "President Erdogan of Turkey – his policies explained as elections loom. Who is he really?" Sir David Logan was the moderator and Sir John Wheeler, Deputy Chairman, and Lady Olga Maitland, President, also spoke.

Reunion des Gastronomes

Mr Julian Sayers, Master, Farmers' Company, was the principal guest and speaker at the monthly supper of the Reunion des Gastronomes held last night in Farmers’ and Fletchers’ Hall. Mr Wallace Vincent, President, was in the chair and welcomed the guests.
