Father found dead after sons killed by dangerous driver

-

A GRIEVING father was found dead after complaining about the “lenient” sentence handed to the driver who killed his two young sons.

Reece Platt-may’s body was discovered at a hotel in Corfu, Greece, in the early hours of yesterday morning.

Corey Platt-may, six, and his twoyear-old brother, Casper, were killed in February when they were hit by a car as they crossed the road with their mother, Louise, and two other brothers in Coventry.

The driver, Robert Brown, was jailed for nine years last month after pleading guilty to causing the boys’ deaths by dangerous driving.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: “His death is not being treated as suspicious. His family has been notified.”
