SIR – My wife is allergic to wheat. We don’t buy anything made in a factory. End of story.

If vegetarian­s and vegans are too lazy to make their own meals (“Meat found in vegan ready meals,” report, June 9), they deserve what they get.

SIR – The only sure way to avoid all animal DNA in food is to stop eating. Homo sapiens DNA ends up in food from hair and skin flakes from those that collect and prepare it.

Vegans and vegetarian­s should stick to collecting their own fruit in the wild so they are only eating themselves.
