Blake’s guide to finding happiness each day

-

sir – There is a tradition for those paying their respects to William Blake – at the simple stone in Bunhill Fields graveyard that roughly marks where this great poet, artist and visionary was buried in a pauper’s grave – to leave coins, flowers and notes with some of his deeply poignant words (“Fans become possessive over quote for Blake’s grave”, report, July 22).

My favourite quote is: “There is a Moment in each Day that Satan cannot find”.

I’ve found this to be so true, and I’m always on the lookout for that special moment in my own day. It can be a child’s smile, spotting a kingfisher – or picking a fresh rose from my garden.
