Johnson fallout BBC presenter quits charity

A BBC Radio 4 presenter has quit as the patron of a charity in protest at fellow patron Boris Johnson’s comments on burkas. Natalie Haynes, who presents a show about Classics, resigned from Classics For All after alleging that Mr Johnson’s Daily Telegraph column about face veils showed him to be a “racist and misogynist”.
