Seumas Milne

The former Guardian columnist, who is the son of Alasdair Milne, the former BBC directorgeneral, attended Winchester College during the Seventies, before enrolling at Balliol College, Oxford, where he read Politics and Economics. In 2016, The Daily Telegraph revealed how he had become an early devotee to Leftwing politics. Raised in a six-bedroom house in Holland Park, west London, he inherited part of his father’s £3.9million estate in 2013.
