Shooting suspect was treated for mental illness

The suspect in a deadly shooting at a Florida video game tournament had previously been treated in hospital for mental illness, according to court records.

Divorce filings from the parents of David Katz, 24, from Baltimore say that as an adolescent he was twice sent to psychiatric facilities and was given antipsychotics and antidepressants.

Katz killed two people and wounded 10 others before fatally shooting himself in Jacksonville on Sunday.
