Spanish U-turn on sale of weapons to Saudis
Spain has agreed to reinstate a shipment of 400 precision-guided bombs to Saudi Arabia, with rights groups criticising the climbdown.
Madrid had been applauded for suspending the delivery amid fears that they could be used in Yemen, where the Saudi-led coalition has been accused of widespread abuse.
But the U-turn came after Riyadh threatened to pull its £1.6billion order of five warships to be built in Cadiz.
