Beastly beauty

Kew Gardens’ largest and smelliest ever titan arum lily has bloomed in the Princess of Wales conservatory. At 10ft (3m) tall and growing 4in (10cm) a day, it has beaten Kew’s previous record of 8ft (2.5m). The plant attracts pollinators with a foul rotting stench.
