shooting glasses

The Field - - YOUNG IN THE FIELD -

Everyone uses them on the moors, partly as eye protection (essential) and partly because yellow lenses really do help you pick out grouse against the heather. I also pack brown ones in case we’re shooting ghyll drives against the sun. I use Evolution glasses, from Sunglasses for Sport, and Pilla. Glasses must be shotresistant (see article on shooting glasses, page 72). I also carry contact lens solution as the moors are usually windy and so dry the eyes.
