CRAIG INGRAM – HULL CITY

The Football League Paper - - CHAMPIONSHIP -

AS our rivals from West Yorkshire would say, ‘it was our cup final’. If that was a cup final then one team got stage fright.

It was possibly the most one-sided game I have seen at the KC this season and at times City embarrassed a poor Leeds team.

Sone Aluko was a sensation up front, dropping deep to bring Robert Koren and the wing backs into the game. Leeds fans booing their own team? Good result.

I was optimistic that we would make the play-offs at the beginning of the season to build on where we left last year.

Steve Bruce has added some guile and quality by bringing in Abdoulaye Faye and Aluko in and playing a 3-5-1-1 formation means that all the players are playing in the position they are best in.

We have come out of the Christmas period unbeaten and second in the table.

Can we reach the promised land again? I think so.
