TRACEY HOWELLS – CHELTENHAM

The Football League Paper - - LEAGUE TWO -

AFTER last season’s play-off final heartache you’d forgive the players for losing heart, but this season has been just as good without playing as good a style of football as last season.

Mark Yates has been the club’s saviour and has the club running through his veins and has brought in some players capable of playing every week in League One.

Hopefully that can be the difference from last season in these final few weeks.

This game at ‘Fortress Whaddon’ was the best performance by far against the champions elect, made sweeter by beating the visiting manager!

If the league was based on home form I think we’d be champions already but sadly our away form hasn’t been as consistent, so it’s still automatic promotion or play-offs for us. Either way it’s been another fantastic season for ‘little old Cheltenham’.
