MEREDITH GIVES UP GOOD LIFE
BRADFORD’S James Meredith says he’s reformed after admitting he was guilty of enjoying the good life of a footballer a little too much in the past.
A ten-week absence with glandular fever midway through the season gave teh Aussie plenty of time to consider his future and the full-back is now fully committed to the Bantams.
“I felt like I’d let myself and the team down as well as the fans,” he said.“Getting ill is down to the luck of the draw. It can’t be helped.
“But I also felt I wasn’t living 100 per cent healthwise. I was going out enjoying myself and things like that. Now I’m fully committed and focused.”
