MARK PORTER – CARDIFF

The Football League Paper - - CHAMPIONSHIP -

AFTER witnessing that I’m so glad we got things tied up a couple of weeks ago – congratulations to Hull but they made hard work of it. After they scored twice they should have walked it but it’s a measure of the job that Malky Mackay has done with us that our players kept going until the end, even though there wasn’t much riding on the match, and we got an equaliser.

It’s strange being a Cardiff fan and not being stressed by the prospect of the play-offs at this stage of the season.

But I definitely won’t miss them and will happily watch them with a beer in hand instead of biting my nails.

We can instead speculate on new players we might be bringing to the club and the fixtures coming out which is much better.

I can’t wait for that day and planning away trips to Old Trafford, the Emirates and Anfield – hurry up August!
