RICHARD PERKINS – HULL

The Football League Paper - - CHAMPIONSHIP -

WOW, wow, wow what a day to be a Hull City fan – joy, elation, despair, the final day had absolutely everything.

When Fraizer Campbell scored I thought there was no coming back from that the way we have been playing of late, I really thought that there was no chance of us scoring.

But spurred on by a magnificent home support, I’ve never heard the KC Stadium so loud before, the lads flew back at Cardiff with two quick goals.

Of course we then have to go and miss a penalty, then concede one at the other end and the final 15-20 minutes waiting on Watford was agony.

We’ve done it the hard way in the last few weeks but the important thing is we’ve done it and we must have one big party for a couple of weeks. I’m glad it’s a Bank Holiday and there’s another day to recover!

I’m delighted for the fans and the city – bring on the Premier League big guns.
