BURNLEY HANG ON TO MARNEY
BURNLEY boss Sean Dyche is delighted that Dean Marney has signed a new two-year contract.
Ex-Tottenham youngster Marney, 29, joined Burnley from Hull City in 2010, and has become a fixture in the Clarets’ midfield.
“We are absolutely delighted that Dean has signed an extended deal and it is another piece in the planning and preparation,” said Dyche.
“We have to be prudent, but we also want to remain competitive and keep progressing the club.
“Dean has shown that he wants to be with us. His commitment is another sign that players want to be at Burnley and take us on this journey.”
