GE­ORGE Miller says he never thought about leav­ing even though Ac­cring­ton have no man­ager, and he urges his team-mates to stay on too.

Miller, 21, signed a oneyear con­tract ex­ten­sion af­ter an im­pres­sive de­but sea­son and al­though boss Leam Richard­son has leftt to be­come Ch­ester­field as­sis­tant the mid­fielder was happy to stay.

“Play­ers some­times fol­low man­agers around­but I think it’s up to them to make their own minds up about what they want to do,” said Miller, who saw team­mates Char­lie Bar­nett, Ai­dan Chip­pen­dale, Bo­han Dixon and Tom Eck­er­s­ley all re­leased.

“I’m sure we’ll have a good squad for pre-sea­son.”
