Car you bought? A black Audi TT five years ago and I still drive it now. CD you bought? Drake’s last album six months ago. Goal you scored? A penalty against Port Vale for Dagenham. We were 2-0 down and I put it to the keeper’s right but then we lost 3-2 Time you were sent off? For Aston Villa reserves against Reading about five years ago. That has been my only red. Injury? I’m injured now. I had a knee operation eight weeks ago. I’m two weeks from full fitness. Trophy won? A League Two winners medal with Brentford four years ago. I was on loan from Aston and it was great to come in for the last 15 games or so.
THE JURY’S OUT:
Tea or Coffee? Neither – only water. Beans on toast or pasta? Pasta. It’s my pre-match meal. Caribbean with the missus or Magaluf with the lads? Caribbean. I prefer a chilled out holiday after a hard season. Eastenders or Corrie? I’m a London lad so Eastenders. Although Lucinda does tend to watch Corrie a lot. Big Brother or XFactor? Big Brother, because it’s good, easy watching. Megan Fox or Jessica Alba? That’s a tough one. Jessica Alba, because she has tanned skin.
TIME ADDED ON:
Who did you support as a boy? Manchester United. My Christmas pres- ent was going up to Old Trafford on the train with my dad Geoffrey. Who is the best player you have played with? Gary Cahill. He had pace, experience, skill. I always knew he’d go all the way. Who is the loudest manager you have played under? Wayne Burnett at Dagenham. He is very passionate, if you were doing badly he let you know. What three words best describe you? Passionate, thoughtful and devoted. Which newspaper do you read? Daily Mail. They cover all sorts of things. Which TV football pundit makes you cringe? John Barnes. For such a great player he comes out with things that don’t make much sense And who do you really listen to? Jamie Redknapp and Gary Neville. Both brilliant players and they know what they are talking about. Do you have any superstitions? If I have a good game, I won’t clean my boots so the same mud is on them next game. What are your hobbies? The cinema. I’m also getting interested in property development. Which five people would you invite round for dinner? David Beckham, aside from my dad he is my biggest hero. Russell Brand as he’s a genius and a great comedian. Albert Einstein is another genius you could learn a lot from. Michael Jordan, one of the biggest stars in the world and David Attenborough would add something to the conversation.
Who is the worst dressed player at the club? He’s not here any more but Mark Arber has got no dress sense. He thinks he looks good but he looks terrible!
