‘MAN MOUNTAIN’ RYAN WILL BE PERFECT FIT
SIZE MATTERS for Cheltenham boss MarkYates after he secured the services of giant defender Ryan Inniss on loan from Crystal Palace.
Inniss, 18, joins the Robins on a month-long youth loan with the 6ft 5ins centre-half is highly-rated at Selhurst Park, having already played for England at U16 and U17 level.
“He’s a bit of a man-mountain,” said Yates. “He’s been on our radar for six months now and he really wants to play. We’re delighted we managed to get him.”
Yates has now made seven summer signings, including goal-scoring veteran Jamie Cureton, and he believes his new-look squad is wellequipped to challenge once again.
“It's going to be a tough league this year but I think we’ve got players who can adapt,” he added.
“We’ve tried to recruit better players and pleased with the progress we’ve made. Hope fully they’ll come good.”
