The Football League Paper - - LEAGUE ONE -

BRADFORD’S potent strike force means they should not go short of goals following promotion.

City are a work in progress under Sean O’Driscoll after relegation from the Championship, but the head coach has made shrewd signings in the skilful Jay Emmanuel- Thomas and hard-working Scott Wagstaff.

Two defensive howlers cost the home side an opening day win and they will need to tighten up their marking at set-pieces.

Bradford were industrious all over the pitch and should have few problems acclimatising to the higher league. Manager Phil Parkinson, who will have been the happier man, revealed he tried to sign Wagstaff this summer, but couldn’t compete with the Robins wages.
