AIDY’S JOY AT DEAL FOR BLYTH
NORTHAMPTON boss Aidy Boothroyd believes new loan signing Jacob Blyth will be a big hit at Sixfields.
The 20-year-old has signed for a month from Leicester after making his name in Non-League with Leamington, who he scored 17 goals for last season.
He moved to the Foxes and then scored six goals in 11 goals for their under21s.
Boothroyd said:“He’s got a terrific record in NonLeague for scoring goals. He’s a big, strong and mobile guy.
“Whether Clive Platt is struggling with injury or not, if Jacob does as well as I expect him to, I’ll be pushing to keep him.”
