ROBINSON CRUSHED BY INJURY
MK DONS boss Karl Robinson admits Daniel Powell’s ten-week injury lay-off has come as a catastrophic blow to both him and the winger.
The 22-year-old picked up the ankle ligament injury while taking part in a training match last week and looks likely to be out until late October at the earliest, having already missed the games against Shrewsbury, Northampton and yesterday’s clash against Crewe.
“It’s catastrophic what’s happened to him,” said Robinson.
“It was a big blow to me personally to find out.
“It looks like it’s going to be ten weeks. It was innocuous, the last kick of the game.”
