NOTTINGHAM FOREST may have splashed out this summer but Chris Cohen claims they can’t consider themselves play-offs certainties.

The Forest midfielder has been joined at the City Ground by Kelvin Wilson, Jamie Mackie and Djamel Abdoun at a combined cost of over £5m but he still reckons it’s a tough ask to break into the top six.

“We cannot be arrogant,” said Cohen. “You can’t go into games believing you are going to win easily.

“Look at Oldham in the FA Cup last season.We perhaps expected a big win – but they came and beat us in the third round (3-2). If a team struggling in League One can do that, you know that any team in the Championship is capable of it as well.”
