PERHAPS the writing was on the wall for Carlisle, bottom of League One after defeats of 5-1, 4-0 and 4-0.
Last year, they conceded 77 goals, second only to Bristol City (86) as the leakiest defence in the entire League.
Now they have conceded 12 in three matches, plus another three in the League Cup victory over Blackburn Rovers. Keep going like that and they will finish with an incredible 184 goals in the against column.
All this begs the question: If Carlisle are bad, what does that make Blackburn?
