VAUGHAN’S KARATE GETS CHOP

JAMES VAUGHAN may be proving himself to be one of the Championship’s hottest strikers but one Huddersfield teammate has been distinctly unimpressed by his celebration.

Adam Hammill has been supplying the former Everton man with the chances but he’s also keen to lend a hand when it comes to his iconic ‘corner flag kick’.

“I think he missed it altogether at Millwall,” said Hammill.“He needs to get that Karate Kid DVD on a bit more often.

“The way he tries to do it, it’s no surprise he keeps getting sore ribs. To be fair, though, we’ll let him get away with it if he keeps scoring for us, and he’s been in hot form so far.”
