DALE’S DELIGHT AT SEAGULLS MOVE
THE SKY is the limit for Brighton, according to new arrival Dale Stephens – and he is desperate to taste promotion with his new club this season.
Having been a stand-out in midfield for Chris Powell at Charlton, Stephens has swapped a relegation dogfight for the chance to crack the play-offs under Oscar Garcia.
And the 24-year-old – who is a natural replacement for Liam Bridcutt after he completed a £3m move to Sunderland – has set his sights on promotion.
“Every player wants to play at the top level and I believe Brighton have got everything in place to get there,” said Stephens.
“My decision to come here was to get to the Premier League.”
